World Cup XCO
The World Cup is back!
After one year of absence, the XCO World Cup is back in Houffalize! The next 14th and 15th of April will be the 19th time that the city of Houffalize hosts a stage of the prestigious series. A European record which makes people in Houffalize very proud and proves, if still needs be, the profound link that exists between the small city of the Ardennes and the World’s best riders.
Six times (!) awarded the trophy of the World’s best organization, Houffalize will once again offer a deeply revised track in order not only to satisfy the very demanding UCI standards but also to allow spectators as well as TV and online viewers to witness the show offered by the world’s finest cross-country riders even more intensely.
As first European stage in the XCO World Cup calendar (after the opening of the series in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa), Houffalize should again be flooded by participants and spectators. Four month before London’s Olympics, the Houffalize stage will indeed be one of the first occasions for the world’s champions to get their Olympic ticket! A big fight is in the air, which means you will witness a great show all along the week-end of the 14th and 15th of April.
