Houffalize Open Tour
In Easter, bunnies are HOT!
After the success of its first edition in 2011, the Houffalize Open Tour will strike hard again in 2012 with a second edition that will satisfy each and every MTB fan who likes it in the Ardennes! This year it will be in Easter, a week before the stars of XCO fight for the famous World Cup, that the marathon maniacs will gather in the Belgian Mountain Biking Mekka. The Tour will open on Saturday (April 7th) with a prologue of 26km, which are nothing less than two laps of the old World Cup track of the 90′s. This will be followed by two 80km stages on Sunday 8th and Monday 9th. Those three stages will again celebrate brand new singletraks and the steep hills of the Ourthe valley. You don’t have time to take part to the three days race, but wish not to miss it anyway? Then we have a solution for you. You can join us on Monday 9th to take part to the HOT Marathon which will take place on the same track as the last stage of the Tour: the 80km long Houffalize – La Roche – Houffalize. Moreover, this stage will be part of the O2 Bikers Marathon Challenge. So there is a HOT formula for you, whatever your free time or desire!
